Children's Organ Days
Children's Organ Days
Individual lessons – puzzles and handicrafts around the organ – making music together – experiencing organ building in its entirety – improvisation
For children and young people aged 7-15.
During the three days, participants have the opportunity to try out the organ, get to know the instrument, and learn something about how the organ works and its sound world.
There is individual support on the organ for each child and support for all levels - regardless of whether you are a complete beginner or already an organ professional.
Process:
Each child receives individual and group lessons, while various stations provide information and craft activities related to the organ. Organ scavenger hunt, organ building workshop, body percussion and more.
individual lessons
We offer individual lessons to each participant so that we can address their previous knowledge and give them an impulse for organ playing. This strengthens the participants' self-efficacy.
organ building
Participants can use all their senses to understand and learn about the organ's function and technology. Various stimuli allow them to immerse themselves in its fascination.
Making Music Together
By making music together, participants learn to listen to one another and work together to create pieces. The immediate joy and sense of community are very important here.
final concert
After the three days, all participants present their works to parents, siblings and friends.
improvisation
Using small motifs, sounds and melodies are invented without notes and stories are told using the language of music. Creativity is challenged and encouraged.
puzzles and craft activities
Musical games and craft activities are offered under educational supervision. The whole body is active and learning content is implemented in a fun way. The materials created can then be taken home.
